Freezetech: Aus Social Campaign

Australian social campaign for Freezetech's cooling performance wear, shot with two athletes training, sweating and recovering.
A social campaign for Freezetech's cooling performance wear in Australia: two athletes training, sweating and recovering, in a natural, post-workout look.
The Brief
Freezetech's ad brief rested on four ideas: performance, sweat, relief and the fabric itself. Speed and effort, the garment working on wet skin, cooling that keeps going after the effort, and macro detail of the cloth.
How We Approached It
Two athletes, Naya and Jordan, moved through a warm-up, running, workouts and recovery, with damp, unkempt hair and barely-there make-up so the sweat could do the talking. Tracking and passing shots, low angles and whip pans for the edit, plus urban B-roll that could belong to any city.
What Made It Special
This edit follows the body: fast, punchy cuts to the beat while the athletes work, then slow motion and held shots as they come down, ending on the garment mark.
The Reality
Shot by James Wajura as videographer. This 27 second vertical film is his own edit of the footage, cut to music. Freezetech and Atollon edited their own cutdowns.
