This is a portfolio site. Please do not reuse my work or my clients' work without asking. Quotes and enquiries are not contracts, projects run on a written agreement, and Victorian law applies.
About these terms
James Wajura ("I", "me") is a director and DOP based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, working as a sole trader.
These terms apply when you use this website (jameswajura.com). They are about the website only. Any film, content or other project work I do for you is covered by its own written agreement or signed quote (see Enquiries, quotes and bookings).
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Using this site
You may view and share links to this site for lawful purposes. You must not:
- copy, scrape, download or reuse the site's films, stills, text, logos or design except as these terms allow
- interfere with the site, test it for weaknesses without permission, or try to access anything that is not public
- use the site in a way that is unlawful, misleading or harmful to others
Our work and intellectual property
Portfolio. The portfolio shows work made for or with clients, brands, agencies and artists, shown with their permission. If you are credited here and would like something changed or removed, tell me.
Ownership. Clients and brands own their campaigns and brand assets. James Wajura owns the site design, text, logo and original material, subject to any rights held by collaborators.
Reuse. Please do not copy, edit, republish or use any media from this site without written permission.
Credits and third parties
Names, roles and social handles are listed as supplied to me. If anything is wrong, incomplete or you would rather not be listed, email me and I will correct or remove it promptly.
Enquiries, quotes and bookings
An enquiry, a conversation or a quote is not a contract. A project starts only when both sides accept a written agreement or signed quote, and its terms (scope, fees, schedule, usage rights, payment) apply to that work. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance.
Third-party links and embedded video
Some pages link to other websites, including Instagram, and some show video through YouTube. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and I am not responsible for them. Embedded video loads only after you press play (see the Cookies page).
Accuracy and availability
I try to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as is. Information may be out of date, and the site may be unavailable from time to time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
